Wildfire has always shown a lot of love for the classic New Wave Of British Heavy Metal bands and 2016 is no exception.

The biggest NWOBHM draw has to be Vardis! The band have had their own fair share of troubles recently – bassist Terry Horbury sadly passed away late last year – but the band have recruited a suitable replacement, inked a worldwide deal with SPV/Steamhammer and fifth album, Red Eye, is scheduled for release later this year. Ready to hit 200 M.P.H in the name of metal once again, this most respected and important band of the NWOBHM’s iconic history are sure to make their mark on Wildfire.

The Deep delivered on 30 years of promise with the release of the exceptional Premonition last year. With a sound that draws comparison with the more melodic side of Saxon’s 80’s output, the dynamite accessibility of Spellbound era Tygers Of Pan Tang and Praying Mantis’ classic hard rock sound, Premonition is a modern NWOBHM’s fans wet dream made flesh.

Last – but certainly not least – Soldier and Spartan Warrior are on hand to supply more NWOBHM thrills than any fan can handle! These conquering heroes have battled back from semi-obscurity in recent years with both bands delivering modern albums to rival their classic era material. 

All in all, NWOBHM fans are more than well catered for in 2016!
