UK Prog Metallers AEONS Release 3rd Teaser Poster For Upcoming Album, Consequences!

Up and coming Isle of Man based progressive/technical metallers AEONS recently took to Facebook to announce their highly anticipated upcoming second album, Consequences

Consequences follows hot on the heels of AEONS’ outstanding debut, A Tragic End – an album which we saw fit to include in our countdown of the 10 Greatest Progressive Metal Albums Of 2019, stating that the album was “home to to a myriad of styles, devices and genres, [and] seamlessly moved from the aggressive progressive death metal of opener “Vampire” to classic Opeth sounding epics. As a suitable example, the outstanding title track is the kind of song you’ve prayed Mikael Akerfedlt would write ever since Heritage came out and disappointed the living shit out of you”.

The original announcement was made a few weeks ago along with the first in a series of posters, specifically designed for each one of Consequences‘ seven tracks. First up was “Rubicon”, swiftly followed by “Hades And Persephone” and now the band have released the poster art for the all-acoustic “Blight”.

No photo description available.

AEONS had this to say about “Blight” and this latest teaser poster:

“Probably the bleakest, depressing and laid-back thing we’ve ever done. And all on acoustics. But you know what IS a Blight ? F**king COVID. We’ve had to push the album release back a few weeks as the Isle of Man is in another lockdown. But we’ll get through it and [release] a video as soon as we can…..we know that will make you sleep better at night.”

We will continue to unveil each teaser poster over the coming weeks!
