3. Lemmy Is Still Alive
Admit it, for a while last year we were all getting worried. The seemingly-indestructible Mr Lemmy Kilmister began showing the first real signs that a life of Hard-Drinking, Hard-Shagging and Hard-Drugs had finally caught up with him.
Fortunately, Lemmy seems to have bounced back from a bout of severe illness; a little slighter in appearance maybe, perhaps a little wiser but just as fiery and just as capable of laying waste to any stage he graces.
As a reminder of their status in the world of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, 2013’s Heartbreaker album was anything but heartbreaking; 100% proof that Motörhead still had the mutton-chops to remain relevant and raucous, 36 years into their illustrious career.
Rumour has it that Motörhead are planning to tour with Judas Priest and the Prince Of Darkness himself, Ozzy Osbourne, over the coming year.
If rumour becomes reality then consider 2015 an epic year for Heavy Metal!
