Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine and David Ellefson are no strangers to replacing band members and the latest rumours on who will step into the shoes of recently departed Chris Broderick and Shawn Drover are surprising to say the least.

WorshipMetal recently reported that shred-icon Marty Friedman would consider a return to the band but rumours have intensified and it’s bloody good news!

Drummer Nick Menza is also in the frame for a return and along with Marty Friedman this would signal a reformation of the Rust In Peace era line-up; the greatest line-up in Megadeth history.
