Formicarius’ Black Mass Ritual Is Coming!

Source // Formicarius

Formicarius have signed a deal with the German label Schwarzdorn Production! Schwarzdorn have been established since 1994 and are known for releasing individual black metal of real quality….making them the perfect fit for Formicarius.

The first release from this new, unholy alliance will be Formicarius’ debut full length album titled Black Mass Ritual.

The single from the album, “Lake Of The Dead” is now into its second pressing and the accompanying video, created by Andy Pilkington (Flotsam And Jetsam etc), has been hugely popular. Such has been the impact of “Lake Of The Dead” that Sony Music/Music For Nations selected it to be included on their compilation album Speed Kills VII – a relaunch of the famous Speed Kills series that helped introduce the world to the likes of Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax.

All of which has served to heighten and intensify the anticipation for Black Mass Ritual

Some of the songs have been performed live when Formicarius played storming shows with the likes of Negura Bunget, Old Corpse Road, Hate and Noctem. Zero Tolerance Magazine described them as “masterful in their construction and execution” and Powerplay Magazine enthused that with “great riffs, great solos, keyboards that really contributed to the songs, bestial vocals and some great metal drumming, Formicarius had it all”.

Now the wait for Black Mass Ritual will soon be over and with the power of Schwarzdorn Production behind them, Formicarius are ready to set the world ablaze!
