Another year over, another great year for Heavy Metal.

Whittling a vast number of worthy releases down to ‘The 10 Best’ is an almost impossible task (poor us) but we’ve done it so you don’t have to.

Everything from Thrash Metal to Doom Metal to Black Metal gets a mention and each album is a cast-iron neck-wrecker. Bands with a 25+ year history mingle with fresher faces and all are worthy of your time and your lacerated eardrums.
