Continuing the trend for UK Thrash bands making a very welcome comeback, the latest thrash legends to announce they are recording new material are London’s, Virus….and they have a new line-up to announce as well!

Coke Finlay remains the linchpin behind this much underrated band and he has recently announced the recruitment of Guitarist Javier Rute Rodriguez & Drummer Donna Grimshaw to bolster his ranks.

Virus’ first album in 26 years is to be entitled Evolution Apocolypse and if it even comes close to matching the intensity found on their classic 80’s albums Pray For War, Force Recon and Lunacy, then 2015 will see thrash’s popularity reaching new heights.

You can catch Virus supporting U.S veterans Hirax, on their first ever UK tour(!), at The Black Heart, Camden on 18th March; as old-school a thrash gig as you could ever wish for, it’s gonna rip and tear London a new a-hole!

The British thrash underdogs are back and as resilient as ever so get yourself inoculated….this Virus is spreading!
