FROZEN SOUL Announce Reissue Of ENCASED IN ICE….

Chilly!

Texan death metallers FROZEN SOUL have announced the reissue of their 2019 Demo EP Encased in Ice on Oct. 29th. Besides the original demo tracks this record also includes two cover songs, and rare bonus tracks including “Tormented By Time” (originally released in Decibel Magazine’s flexi-series), as well as the demo version of “Crypt of Ice”.

Frozen Soul‘s debut album Crypt of Ice was included in our 10 Death Metal Albums You NEEDED To Hear in 2021 (January-March) article.

You can check out “Mandatory Suicide”, originally written and performed by thrash metal legends Slayer, below.

“With this reissue we wanted to give everyone a fresh look at how it started and how it led up to Crypt of Ice! Encased in ice was a journey for us to get to where we are now and we couldn’t have done it without everyone’s support,”states FROZEN SOUL.

Preorders for Encased in Ice are available now, listen to the single or get your copy of Encased in IceHERE

The reissue will be released as a 180-gram black LP incl. an A2 poster as well as on all digital platforms. The album will also be released exclusively in the U.S. in the following formats: Black LP & poster / Black ice LP & poster / Translucent light blue LP & poster exclusively via Decibel / Grey marble LP & poster exclusively via Revolver /  Maelstrom LP & poster, band exclusive.
