Brand New Sikth Video To Slather Over!

UK Djent precursors and math-core masters Sikth are officially back! They’ve recently signed to Peaceville Records and are ready to reap the long awaited rewards for a style so ahead of its time they released 2 albums, 3 EP’s and split up before their pioneering sound was even popularised.

Coming back stronger than ever in 2015, Sikth have an EP in the bank – the soon to be released Opacities (December 4th to be precise) – and a brand spanking new video to peddle. “Philistine Philosophies” is the first taster of what’s to come and it’s a Sikth classic in the making; utterly unique progressive metal madness backed by huge hooks, inexplicable heaviness and an ornate melody that stands at odds with the aggression of Mikee Goodman’s instantly recognisable vocal delivery.

Recorded at Lincoln’s Chapel Studios and produced by Dan Weller and Justin Hill (mixed by Forrester Savell – Karnivool, Animals As Leaders, Dead Letter Circus), vocalist Mikee Goodman hails Opacities as the best music the band have ever made, stating, “musically, vocally and lyrically it is our most complete work. We’ve pushed our sound to the next level.”

Catch Sikth on their UK tour with Hacktivist & Feed The Rhino supporting:

6th December – Academy 2, Manchester
10th December – Motion, Bristol
11th December – 02 Academy, Birmingham
