Also known as Sultans Seed, Synthese were a cult 80’s heavy metal band from France and Prisoner, originally released in 1986, was to be their only album.

Channeling a speed metal meets NWOBHM sound, Synthese had all the ingredients to nestle in next to their UK brethren and Prisoner is a rip-roaring blast of huge choruses, whip-crack rhythms and full-on 80’s heavy metal pomp!

On August 31 2016, the album will be officially re-released on CD by No Remorse Records and this limited edition CD will include 5 bonus tracks taken from the now legendary Sultans Seed demo.

The Spanish heavy metal scene of the 1980’s wasn’t just home to the more well-known Baron Rojo, Muro, Obus or Zarpa. In fact, another band – who released just one official album – also managed to earn cult status and that band was the Basque Country based Exodo.

A heavy metal/power metal blast through time-honoured songwriting, The New Babylon was originally released in 1988 and was available as limited edition vinyl LP only. Now the album has been finally reissued by No Remorse Records and includes two previously unreleased bonus tracks.
