Chaser To Release Lost NWOBHM Tracks On Raiders – The Anthology!

One of the best kept secrets of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal was Ipswich’s Chaser.

In 1984, the band released just one single entitled “Raiders” including its B-Side “Final Stand” (which nowadays is a highly sought after collectors item). But, between 1984 and 1986 they actually managed to professionally record 15 tracks and all were worthy of an album release. Unfortunately, this release never happened and the recordings were buried for the next 30 years…..until now!

The recordings can finally be heard and will officially be released for the first time ever via Skol Records. This limited edition CD entitled Raiders – The Anthology will include all 15 tracks and will be released on October 28th 2016, with new dynamic mastering courtesy of Bart Gabriel (Cirith Ungol, Mythra, Satan’s Host).

The album’s artwork was created by Roberto Toderico, an Italian artist known for his work with such revered  NWOBHM acts as Tygers Of Pan Tang, Quartz and Mythra.
