The cogs at Scotland’s Wildfire Festival 2016 have already begun to turn and just 7 weeks after 2015’s highly successful 3-dayer closed it’s doors, the first crop of bands for 2016 have been announced!
From the classic NWOBHM stylings of Soldier to the Melodic Metal of Winterstorm, Wildfire’s knack of unearthing semi-hidden gems and grizzled veterans continues.

2016 sees Wildfire Festival celebrating it’s 5th Anniversary. The award winning and ONLY Rock and Metal Festival in Scotland, returns to Wiston Lodge on the 24th June 2016 for 3 days of rock and metal mayhem. With six bands already confirmed and negotiations well in hand with some major acts for 2016, it is the best reason to be in Scotland next June. From self assured Hard Rockers Apriori and Blues act Sky Vally Mistress, to NWOBHM stalwarts Soldier and AOR legends Serpentine, we have added amazing Scot’s Alt Rockers Halo Tora and Dark Melodic Metallers Winter Storm into this years, once more eclectic and high quality mix.
Festival Director Dave Ritchie says:
“We are really pulling out all the stops in 2016 with plans once more for a bigger and more varied event. We have some amazing headline acts on the way and more bands than ever before too.
