Miss these bands at your peril!

Unfathomably brutal and unapologetically gory, Bristol’s Amputated ably rework Cannibal Corpse and Napalm Death’s glory days for a modern audience. Their skin-crawling, flesh-ripping, slamming death metal contains enough chugging riff progressions to keep any seasoned death metal/gore-grind fan pig-squealing with delight and Mammothfest is in for a slippery, squelchy blood-addled treat when Amputated headline Sticky Mikes Frog Bar on Sunday 4th October.

With an inherent understanding of what makes their brand of grisly, gruesome pleasure so damn addictive, you can expect more fearsome pit-igniting grooves and uptempo slamming anthems than any mere mortal can digest.

Limbs will flail, bodies will convulse and people will be pummelled into submission…. get your gore on!

As editor of Worship Metal - a site dedicated to being as positive about metal and its myriad of sub-genres as possible - my aim is to 'worship' metal through honest reviews, current news and a wide variety of features; offering the same exposure to underground bands as we do to mainstream/well known acts. Our mantra; the bands are partners and we exist to serve the bands \m/
