Destruction meets Toxic Holocaust in an old-school meets new-world Thrash frenzy that may be over in a flash (just like this review) but leaves a nuclear-assault sized mark! Brutally simple, simply effective, crudely engineered yet thrillingly alive and relevant, it’s like the glory days all over again when Thrash bands came to Thrash and absolutely nothing was gonna get in their way.

That pretty much sums up Sadistic Ritual’s Edge Of The Knife EP; 6 tracks of uncompromising spit, speed and savagery, the kind of Death/Thrash slaughter pioneered in the early to mid 80’s by the likes of Slayer, Celtic Frost and Kreator.

Don’t compromise, if poser-free, raw-as-fuck Thrash is what you’re after then Sadistic Ritual’s Edge Of The Knife is the soundtrack of your dreams (or nightmares)! 8/10
