UK Extreme Metal Outfit VEHEMENT Announce Ashes Album!

After the collapse, only ashes remain....

Brighton based extreme metal quartet Vehement release their sophomore album Ashes on October 6th via Infernum Records, the same day that Vehement will open UK metal festival Mammothfest 2017, sharing the stage with black metal icons, Rotting Christ and Tsjuder!

Vehement have been climbing upwards through the ranks of the UK’s metal scene for several years, and since the release of their debut album Collapse in 2013, the band have gone on to play notable events such as Bloodstock Open Air and Incineration Fest. Recently announced as the second signing to Infernum Records (home to fellow Brightonians King Leviathan), they are poised to unleash their second full length offering upon the world.

Guitarist Xysor explains: “ …as soon as Collapse was released we were straight into the writing process for Ashes. We began recording over a year ago, but after parting ways with bassist Nybras (on good terms I might add), I was doubtful we’d find anyone to fit the mould. Once we did however, in Ohtar, things got back on form and a new dynamic was discovered.”

Vehement’s appearance at Mammothfest on October 6th will also mark the official release of Ashes through Infernum Records. In the meantime, “we’re already working on the next one…”

With a new sense of direction and sound this album challenges the barriers of ‘extreme metal’ and forces elements together. After the collapse, only ashes remain….
