Worship Metal were sad to hear that Pagan Altar‘s frontman Terry Jones lost his battle with cancer 2 days ago.
Fusing core elements of Traditional Heavy Metal, with the Classic Doom Metal they themselves pioneered in the early 80’s, the NWOBHM/Doom veterans truly made their impact once they reformed in 2004. Pagan Altar’s career was experiencing a fertile period which makes the news of Terry Jones’ passing harder to take.
Doom Metal has lost a founding forefather, go pay pilgrimage by listening to their modern classic, Mythical And Magical.
