Doom/Death Trio THE CRAWLING Release Series Of Play Through Videos For “The Right to Crawl”

With the lockdown in full force and next live performances uncertain, Northern Ireland’s doom/death trio, THE CRAWLING, remain undeterred and continue to provide music in this difficult time. With so many being unable to leave home, the band decided to create an in-depth play through of crowd favourite, “The Right To Crawl”, from their debut album, Anatomy Of Loss.

The close up guitar and bass videos allow avid musicians to learn the song, aided by scrolling tablature, in real time, alongside the track. There is also a multi angled, close up, live drum performance; mixed against the guitars/vocals from the original recording session from 2017.

Vocalist / guitarist Andy Clarke commented;

“It was a difficult thing to put together, especially when we couldn’t physically meet up. Stuart (bass) and Gary (drums) had to up their game; learn recording techniques, and establish how to achieve multiple camera angles. The end result is surprisingly good. The response has been great, and we’ve enjoyed receiving messages about the finer details of guitar sounds and the like. It was a lot of fun, and good for morale, as it gave us something to focus on.”

The band have also been hosting regular Facebook Live events, and working on further videos to provide entertainment for fans, as the social distancing advice continues.
