5 Albums You Simply Can’t Ignore In April 2016!
3. Deftones – Gore
One of the few bands in existence whose new material will undoubtedly take you by surprise while totally reinventing their sound (again) and systematically reminding you just how fuckin’ good they are – and have you instantly rooting through your CD’s to dig out White Pony or Around The Fur we might add – the Deftones‘ Gore is sure to warrant all of those responses when it lands on April 8th.
Like most Deftones albums, this one will probably need poring over, total immersion required to fully appreciate its complexities. These guys haven’t written instant fix anthems since the aforementioned Around The Fur and while patience may be the key, one thing is for sure; Gore will feature heavily when those pesky album of the year lists are submitted come December.
A blindly naive prophetic statement? Not really. Deftones have barely disappointed over an incredibly diverse 20+ year career….why would they start now?!
graves at sea first full length album…?
Damn! That’s a good shout. Yeah, add that to the ‘Best of the Rest’ section \m/
Crematory are a German band and not from Italy.
You are correct sir….we have amended accordingly and reprimanded ourselves severely!
