Sepolcro – Undead Abyss – Demo Review

For fans of Disma, Mortician, Incantation, Phlegm and Rottrevore!

Ripped straight from the pages of the Necronomicon, the savage blasts of demonic noise found on Undead Abyss‘ 3 tracks mark these putrid Italian death metallers as one’s to seriously keep an eye on! Sepolcro love their old school death metal alright….and their faithful updating of recognisable sounds is damn good too!

Suitably gruff, fuzzy and full of sinister intent, Sepolcro’s Undead Abyss takes the lumpen grooves of Broken Hope and throws in the unparalleled evil of Incantation and Infester, resulting in a diabolical conquest which moves those well-worked neck muscles as well as chilling the soul to its very core.

Don’t go worrying about dodgy demo sound quality either, Undead Abyss sounds gruesomely great and a full album from these guys is required post haste! 7/10
