Nine Miles South – Bones – Single Review + Tour Dates Announcement

Bare bones this is not....

Source // Nine Miles South - Bones

Yesterday saw the release of “Bones”, the new single from Nine Miles South and if their debut EP hinted at future greatness, this track alone seals the deal on a band who are coming to take over your town!

“Bones” is the kind of dark outlaw-rock anthem that brings to mind Bon Jovi’s finest moments; accessible, loaded with high-calibre riffs and delivered with pure conviction. Propelled by a stunningly emotive vocal performance from mainman Seb Mikkelsen, the cinematic qualities of this anthem-in-the-making brings to mind a myriad of visuals; not least Nine Miles South bashing this bastard out from an arena stage. Yes, it’s that good.

Blues rock, country rock or plain ol’ hard rock with a twist, either way you cut it Nine Miles South are going places.

The. Real. Deal. 9/10

To support the release of “Bones”, Nine Miles South are heading out on tour with UK prog metal giants in the making – Dorje. The confirmed dates are as follows:

7th Nov, Borderline, London
8th Nov, Audio, Glasgow
9th Nov, Star And Garter, Manchester
10th Nov, Key Club, Leeds
12th Nov, Rock City Basement, Nottingham
13th Nov, O2 Academy 3, Birmingham

With more new music coming out from this phenomenal band later in the year – and recent performances at Camden Rocks & Always The Sun Festival gong down a storm – Nine Miles South is a name you’ll be hearing a lot more of over the forthcoming months!

Nine Miles South are: Seb Mikkelsen – vocals, guitars, Jon Antony- guitar, backing vocals, Andy Sleigh – bass, backing vocals, David Wilson – drums
