Trivium are back and after 2013’s slightly dubious and underwhelming – David Draiman (Disturbed) produced – Vengeance Falls, Matt Heafy and the boys are experimenting with their sound again.

Trivium took to Facebook and with tongue set firmly in cheek had this to say about their latest release:

“This song was written for Shogun, and is basically almost the same as it was, so Shogun fans rejoice; didn’t like Shogun? You may not dig this.”

Once again sounding like the Arena band they are surely destined to be, “Silence In The Snow” is big, its catchy and its Power Metal tendencies are perfect for mass consumption without feeling like they’ve sold out.

In a nutshell, we like it….what do you think?

Trivium’s new album Silence In The Snow is out 2nd October via Roadrunner Records and it’s surely going to be an epic affair.
