Savatage, the Progressive Power Metallers who originally disbanded in 2002, have not only confirmed an exclusive European appearance at 2015’s Wacken Open Air festival but also hinted at a future beyond this ‘one off’ performance.

Anyone familiar with their classic 80’s albums Hall Of The Mountain King and Gutter Ballet will be positively giddy at the thought of new material but it’s early days according to guitarist Chris Caffery.

Never say never appears to be the mantra here but we at Worship Metal are confident that a full-on Savatage reunion is imminent!
