UK/US/Chilean Grindcore supergroup Lock Up will enter Parlour Recording Studios on November 1st to begin work on their as-yet untitled new album.

Long time friend and acclaimed producer/knob twiddler Russ Russell (The Exploited, Napalm Death, Evile, The Bezerker, Dimmu Borgir,etc) is back behind the controls and he had this to say regarding Lock Up’s mouthwatering new material….

“I’m absolutely chuffed sick to be back in the studio with my old mates Lockup in a few weeks time.
It’s been 13 years since we last dipped our toes in the lake of fire, this time we’re diving in head first, screaming for Satan.”

With a late Spring/early Summer 2016 release date penned, the new album promises to be the bands most sonically punishing and vicious release to date. With a line up now consisting of Kevin Sharp (Brutal Truth) on vocals, Anton Reisenegger (Pentagram Chile/Criminal) on guitar and original duo Shane Embury (Napalm Death/Brujeria) and Nick Barker (every extreme metal band in existence) on bass and drums respectively the stage is set for some truly groundbreaking Grindcore/Deathgrind.

Extensive tour dates will follow in 2016/2017!
