Nearly 30 years since NWOBHM legends Grim Reaper released their last album (1987’s Rock You To Hell) and Steve Grimmett and his hired hands are back to play real heavy metal!

September 23rd sees the release of Walking In The Shadows and you can expect a classic NWOBHM sound welded to the mighty lungs of Steve Grimmett, one of the defining voices of the genre.

With NWOBHM bands currently riding high on a critical wave of nostalgic success it’s high time Grim Reaper joined the likes of Diamond Head, Tygers Of Pan Tang, Holocaust etc in releasing new material and Walking In The Shadows looks set to be a must-hear for NWOBHM enthusiasts and newcomers alike!

A huge US tour will follow the release of Walking In The Shadows (including a few dates in the UK) as Grim Reaper scythe their way through the ranks of true NWOBHM

I love metal. Always have. Always will. As editor of Worship Metal - a site dedicated to being as positive about metal and its myriad of sub-genres as possible - my aim is to 'worship' metal through honest reviews, current news and a wide variety of features; offering the same exposure to underground bands as we do to mainstream/well known acts. Our mantra; the bands are partners and we exist to serve the bands \m/
