Worship Metal’s 4-Word Reviews – Seether – Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum

If you want peace, prepare for war.....

The Facts:

South Africa’s Seether have been churning out relatively predictable post-grunge for nigh on two decades now and Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum is their 8th attempt at releasing something meaningful. Whether they have or not will depend on your ability to swallow the same shit, on a different day.

Worship Metal’s 4-Word Review:

“Recycled. Angsty. Grunge. Bollocks.” 3/10

For Fans Of:

Anyone with a penchant for grunge and the knock-off acts that followed its 90’s dominance.

Recommended Tracks:

Opener “Dead And Done” amps up the aggression but the remainder is post-grunge fodder at best.

Release:

Seether’s Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum was released on 28th August 2020 via Fantasy Records.

I love metal. Always have. Always will. As editor of Worship Metal - a site dedicated to being as positive about metal and its myriad of sub-genres as possible - my aim is to 'worship' metal through honest reviews, current news and a wide variety of features; offering the same exposure to underground bands as we do to mainstream/well known acts. Our mantra; the bands are partners and we exist to serve the bands \m/
