Worship Metal’s 4-Word Reviews – Kill The Lights – The Sinner

Moose wanders in from the wilderness....

The Facts:

Bullet For My Valentine drummer/founder Michael “Moose” Thomas returns with metalcore mob, Kill The Lights and recruits James Clark (ex-Throw The Fight), Jordan Whelan (ex-Still Remains) & Travis Montgomery (Threat Signal) to give him a hand. Predominantly existing in a parallel dimension where metalcore’s mid-00’s output remains the most exciting sound on the planet, Kill The Lights at least impress with a relatively fresh sounding take on metalcore’s core principles.

Worship Metal’s 4-Word Review:

“Melody. Muscle. Metalcore. Moose.” 7/10

For Fans Of:

Bullet For My Valentine (obvs), Killswitch Engage, Trivium.

Recommended Tracks:

“Plagues” pulls no punches (listen below) and “The Faceless” (originally released independently back in 2019) are the cream of the crop.

Release:

Kill The Lights’ debut album, The Sinner, is out NOW via Fearless Records!
