Vektrill – I’ll Never Die – Single Review

Source // Vektrill I'll Never Die

Launching in a direction we probably all hoped Muse would head in, Worthing’s Vektrill have taken space rock’s swirling otherworldliness and fashioned a riff heavy, progressive rock/metal outing that should appeal to metallers and staunch ‘rock only’ fans alike.

Drenched in static and springing forth from a galaxy far, far away (or some even less obvious sci-fi rip off quote), the urgency and infectious rhythms of “I’ll Never Die” bounce through a myriad of time changes like Hawkwind on even more speed than they’d ever dare to ingest and is a bona fide hit in the making (if hit singles still existed).

“I’ll Never Die” is taken from Vektrill’s EP Cyborg – available now incidentally – and is a stunning showcase for an emerging talent. Before too long, these guys could be light years ahead of the pack! 8/10
