Endless Recovery – Revel In Demise – Album Review

80's thrash worshipping Greek metallers knock it out of the park....

Source // Endless Recovery

We’ll get straight to the point.

Greek thrashers Endless Recovery worship 80’s Kreator. They love ’em. They love ’em so much that they are quite simply the physical embodiment of 80’s Kreator miraculously transported through time and plopped down in 2016 (well, 2015 to be precise, Revel In Demise came out in December). This album reeks of the pure filth contained within Pleasure To Kill, the more varied tempos of Extreme Aggression and the satisfying chug of Coma Of Souls.

It’s all here. Michalis Skliros’ blackened growls are like Mille Petrozza and Jürgen “Ventor” Reil combined and the riffs rage and shred, stab and slash; prime 80’s thrash on repeat play, familiar yet comforting.

Which is fine. We fuckin’ love Kreator and we love 80’s thrash. Nice work lads. 8/10
