From Static X to Soulfly to Fear Factory with Ministry in between! Is Tony Campos trying to play bass for everyone?

Ex-Static X bassist Tony Campos has confirmed his departure from Soulfly to join the ranks of Industrial Metallers Fear Factory.

After performing with Max Cavalera’s Soulfly for over three years, Campos appeared to be an integral part of the Soulfly machine, makeing his announcement that he’s turning his attention to Fear Factory’s brand of Industrialised mayhem all the more surprising.

Campos supplied the rumble on Soulfly’s well received albums Enslaved and Savages and the yet to be released Archangel, alongside playing on all 6 Static X album’s, the Asesino albums Corridos de Muerte and Cristo Satánico, Ministry’s Relapse and From Beer To Eternity and stints in Prong, Possessed and Otep.

If it’s Tony’s aim to play with everyone, ever, he’s going about things the right way!

Fear Factory are currently working on the follow up to 2012’s Industrialist album and Soulfly’s Archangel is due in August.
