Sacred Steel Re-Release Reborn In Steel This Halloween

Source // bravewords.com

True heavy metal revivalists Sacred Steel began their fight to restore faith in real metal in the mid 90’s. Following on from the groundwork laid down by genre legends Omen, Cirith Ungol, Manowar, Jag Panzer, Manilla Road and Helstar, Sacred Steel found themselves becoming the first German band ever signed to Metal Blade Records.

While an acquired taste – primarily due to frontman Gerrit P. Mutz’s so bad they’re good vocals – Sacred Steel’s 1997 debut album, Reborn In Steel, is a must hear for fans of classic heavy/power metal with more bombast and bravado than most bands can muster in a lifetime.

Out of print for far too long, Skol Records are primed to release an exclusive and expanded edition reissue of Reborn In Steel on October 31. Limited to only 1000 copies worldwide, this package will include 8 previously unreleased bonus tracks (no live recordings and no interviews), previously unseen photos and liner notes written by Gerrit P. Mutz himself.
