Defense Records & Mythrone Promotion proudly present the mighty debut full-length album from old-skool thrashers, F.O.A.D!

Birth of Extinction will be released on Digipak CD Nov 25th, 2016 and brings pure fucking swedish thrash metal back to the masses. F.O.A.D (or Fuck Off And Die) is a Swedish thrash metal band from Västerås formed for the first time in 1986(!), hibernated for many years – along with the radioactive fallout from Chernobyl – from and once again revealed themselves in 2012.

Inspired by all those good old thrashy bands from the 80’s and early 90’s,  F.O.A.D recorded a few early songs (e.g. “Morbid Truth”) but they never saw the light of day on a physical format. The first official F.O.A.D release then emerged with the Demo-Nical demo arriving in 2014. In late 2015, the band recorded the material for their debut album Birth of Extinction which finally, through the efforts of Defense Records and Mythrone Promotion, appears as a full-length debut album on Nov. 25th, 2016….enriched with archive F.O.A.D demo recordings.

In anticipation of the physical version of the album, you can check out the firepower of this Swedish trio via the video for “Doomed Rebirth of Christ“.
