Tempted? You bloody well should be!

Those lovely people at Relapse Records have announced the first reissue in nearly thirty years(!) of Opprobrium’s (formerly known as Incubus, not those nu-metal fools but the real Incubus) landmark 1988 debut Serpent Temptation! Released at the height of extreme metal’s reign, this pioneering death/trash record has since been rightfully hailed as an underground classic for its innovation and ferocity.

Undoubtedly one of the heaviest records of the ’80s, the album has now been remastered by Brad Boatright (Sleep, Obituary, etc) and includes four bonus tracks from the band’s 1987 demo plus an extended booklet.

A must have for fans of classic thrash metal and death metal alike!

It’s high time Opprobrium’s outstanding debut was made available again, so don’t wait another 30 years to pick up a copy.

While you’re at it, make sure to pick up a copy of Opprobrium’s sophomore effort Beyond The Unknown; a severely underrated death metal gem that can shift tectonic plates with it’s sheer power!
