Gene Hoglan and Mike Gonzalez are blatantly busy boys this year as they etch their mark on a new Dark Angel album alongside their work on Viking’s previously mentioned new material.

Dark Angel are revered among Thrash die-hards for their all time classic Darkness Descends album and the Riff-fest that was 1991’s epic Time Does Not Heal.

A comeback has been 24 years in the making and is well overdue. Dark Angel are one of Thrash Metal’s true legends, rightfully spoken of in the same reverential tones as Testament, Exodus and Overkill, and while new material is yet to be titled or given a release date you can guarantee they will stamp their authority on the Thrash scene once again!
