Wildfire has assembled an eclectic mix of bands that span the spectrum of Rock and Metal.

Fans of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal should view Wildfire as a NWOBHM nostalgia fest as Salem, Tysondog, Holocaust, Tygers Of Pan Tang and the legendary Diamond Head are all set to perform.

Classic Rock and Melodic Metal fans can kick back to Swedish headliners Coldspell, Hard-Rockers Ten and Estrella, San Diego’s blistering Benedictum, Max Raptor’s Punk Rock/Rock hybrid and the classic Metal sounds of Knock Out Kaine, Lawless, Lord Volture, Kaine, Hellion Rising and I.C.O.N.

Thrash fans are also well catered for with the UK’s finest represented by Anihilated, Re-Animator, Lawnmower Deth and Solitary; seasoned Thrashing machines one and all.

Those looking for something that little bit heavier can get their mosh-on to Balls Deep, the brutal Death Metal of Scordatura, the Melodic Death Metal of Exile The Traitor and the swinging grooves of Dog Tired.

That’s just the icing on a well-frosted cake with many more bands playing over the 3-day event.

Wildfire appears to have all the bases well and truly covered and with tickets now down to limited availability we suggest you get yours now. Here’s the link, get clicking!

I love metal. Always have. Always will. As editor of Worship Metal - a site dedicated to being as positive about metal and its myriad of sub-genres as possible - my aim is to 'worship' metal through honest reviews, current news and a wide variety of features; offering the same exposure to underground bands as we do to mainstream/well known acts. Our mantra; the bands are partners and we exist to serve the bands \m/

  1. Great review of a great festival. We take our kids (now 5 & 3) and they have a blast! 2 years ago I sat breastfeeding the baby listening to awesome music… now they run riot & pick daisies! The food vendors are great and not overpriced too!

Thanks Eleanor. The fact that Wildfire is family friendly distances them from the majority of similar festivals and you’re proof positive that they truly do deliver a unique experience. Thanks for reading and commenting \m/

  2. Obviously biased, but we are really trying to shake the tree. Festivals should be totally inclusive for all, value for money and you know what…..a bit of fun. All are welcome and as one of the organisers I can assure you, I usually end up buying everyone a drink? Take that Andy Copping 🙂
